Nathan Lynch, who had originally been sitting next to Victoria Vance, was now in a chair beside Yvonne Lee. Yvonne was feeding him with a spoon.
Nathan Lynch was normally a light eater, but he ate a surprising amount with Yvonne Lee feeding him.
"Oh, my sweet grandson, what a big bite! You're amazing! Our Mona finished it in one go. So impressive!"
Victoria Vance said, "Ma'am, you should eat first. Mona doesn't need to be fed. I'm afraid you'll tire yourself out."
Yvonne Lee smiled. "I'm not tired! Seeing my sweet grandson enjoy my cooking this much… you have no idea how happy that makes me! Come on, Mona, just two bites left. Finish them up for me, okay?"
After the meal, Yvonne Lee went into the kitchen to do the dishes, and Victoria Vance followed close behind to help. A few seconds later, Howard Dawson and Aidan Dawson came in, talking and laughing, and adeptly started washing up.
