Hong Kong Island University possesses an exclusive Secret Realm not open to the public—the Shadowland.
Across the entire Great Xia Federation, no more than thirty universities have their own exclusive Secret Realms. Among those, only ten currently possess Secret Realms of Intermediate level or higher.
Hong Kong University is one of them.
The Shadowland is an Intermediate Secret Realm with an incredibly vast space. For years, Hong Kong University has been developing this realm, making it a key source of teaching resources. The Secret Realm itself is also perfectly suited for student combat trials and training.
This year's academy grand tournament will be held in the Shadowland.
In previous tournaments, the rules were relatively simple: the teams from each academy would compete to see who could hunt the most Demon Beasts.
This time, however, the rules have changed. The new format is called—Battle Royale.
