The King and Princess Consort followed Monk King Rajana, soon entering the mountains behind the temple. They walked along a mountain path for nearly half an hour. By the time they were both slightly out of breath, fine beads of sweat dotting their foreheads, Rajana finally stopped before a cliff face.
The cliff face was sheer, rising at an almost perfect ninety-degree angle. It was covered in lush, green vegetation.
The three stood on a patch of high ground, from which they had a clear, unobstructed view of the area before the cliff.
The waters were pristine and the mountains verdant—a truly idyllic scene.
"Venerable, what is the meaning of this?"
The King of Tai Lan asked, frowning in confusion.
"Your Majesty, please look over there."
Rajana pointed in a specific direction.
