The leader grabbed the walkie-talkie at his hip and bellowed at the flight crew.
"It's the enemy! He's too fast! Bullets are bouncing off him like rubber off steel! Is that even a human body?!!"
"Damn it, he's getting close! Pull up! Pull up!"

The walkie-talkie crackled with the flight crew's chaotic, panicked shouts. Then, all the armed personnel outside the hospital watched as, from a spot obscured by rubble in the distance, a brilliant beam of starlight shot skyward. It was like a giant blade, hundreds of meters long, slicing horizontally past the helicopter.
The massive beam of light didn't destroy anything physical. Instead, the immense magnetic field it contained instantly fried the signals of all the helicopter's equipment and obliterated the flight crew's Life Magnetic Fields, killing them in an instant.
