Song Wanning accepted it with satisfaction.
The inner core was ink-black, shimmering with a metallic luster.
The demonic power within it was unmistakable.
A faint smile touched Song Wanning's lips. 'Just when I was worried about not having enough demonic qi, someone delivers it right to my doorstep.'
She sent She Yi to a corner, then swallowed the inner core and began absorbing its demonic power.
Huddled in the corner, She Yi watched Song Wanning meditate, a sliver of confusion rising in his heart.
'Song Wanning is from the Human Clan, so how does she have this faint, almost imperceptible demonic qi about her? And it's getting stronger as time passes.'
The longer he watched, the more She Yi began to doubt everything he knew, because Song Wanning's demonic qi was growing heavier.
And heavier.
Until the aura around her had transformed completely into demonic qi.
She Yi was completely dumbfounded. He rubbed his eyes vigorously.
