The catastrophe unleashed by the Bright Holy See, like a never-ending nightmare, had raged for a full month.
Throughout this long and terrifying time, people on Blue Star died in despair with every passing second.
The global population plummeted at an astonishing rate.
The entire world was shrouded in gloom. The prosperity and peace of the past had vanished without a trace.
As the disaster spread, a growing tide of survivors, struggling on the brink of death, flooded toward the Great Xia Empire's Border City.
They had endured untold hardships, dragging their exhausted bodies forward, their eyes filled with a desperate longing for survival.
However, when they arrived at the Border City, they were stopped by the well-trained Defense Team of the Great Xia Empire.
Outside the Border City, a dense crowd of refugees huddled together in a scene of utter chaos.
Their shouts and cries mingled, forming a desperate dirge.
"Please, open the gate!"
