There were no banners around the camp, only towering black stone pillars. Rotting chains coiled around the pillars, from which hung the countless skeletons of Ascenders. Some skulls were shattered, some limbs were missing. The bones were still stained with dried blood and dark green venom, looking especially sinister and terrifying under the dim red light of the sky.
Inside the Abyss Camp, there were no orderly tents, only nests constructed from giant skeletons and rotting flesh. A viscous, dark green ooze constantly seeped from the tops of the nests, dripping onto the ground and corroding small pits into the earth.
Countless Abyssal Demons roamed around the nests, each with its own grotesque and hideous form.
Some were massive Abyssal Demon Bears, their bodies pitch-black, their fur matted, and their claws caked in blood and rotting flesh.
Others were winged Abyssal Bats with wingspans of over twenty feet. Their eyes glowed scarlet as they continually let out sharp screeches.
