"Ian, I'm thinking of spending a few days there. I'm worried you wouldn't be used to the food, and frankly, neither would I." 'All they have in the countryside is brown rice and sorghum. Once you've tasted refined grains, who would want to go back to eating coarse stuff?'
"Is this enough? Is there anything I can do to help?"
"It's enough. I'll buy some pastries tomorrow before I leave. You don't need to help, I can handle it." Cecilia Adler kneaded the dough and set it aside to rise. Then, she washed the beef and started making a beef sauce. By the time the sauce was ready, the dough had risen as well.
Just as she was kneading the dough, Aunt Sullivan came to the door. "Cecilia, your dad is here. He said the security guard won't let him in. I offered to bring him up, but he's insisting that you go down and get him yourself."
