"Yeah." Cecilia was still shaken by what had happened.

She had seen street vendors who'd been caught and paraded through the streets.

Their hands would be tied behind their backs, their heads bowed, and a sign hung around their necks. Crowds of people would follow them. It was incredibly humiliating.

She lamented, "Why is life so hard for ordinary people? No job, no city registration... We're not stealing or robbing anyone, just trying to get by with what little we have. But we're forced to live like rats, always hiding and scurrying for cover."

Is it fair?

It's not.

'These days have to end eventually.'

'An era where money is practically lying on the ground is bound to come. I have to lay a good foundation, be fully prepared, and make an absolute fortune.'
