"I can't bear for Ian to suffer even the slightest bit."
Ian finally understood a complete sentence and smiled warmly. "You eat, too."
"I'm already full," Cecilia Adler said as she got the foraging tools ready.
After Ian finished his meal, the two of them headed up the mountain to look for wintersweet.
Soon, they spotted one.
Cecilia stepped forward and took a gentle sniff. "It smells so good."
"Honey, do you really think this smells good? I think it's even more pungent than herbal medicine." The strong scent was making Ian feel dizzy.
Cecilia was confused. "But it smells lovely to me. If you put it under your pillow, it's supposed to stop you from dreaming. We call it 'dream flower' here."
"I can't stand this smell." Ian thought the scent didn't need to be purified; on the contrary, it needed to be diluted. "Honey, you gather these by yourself. I'll see if I can find something else to pick."
