"What kind of veil was she wearing?" Charlotte Young didn't notice how nervous he was after asking that question.
"A pink veil and a white cloak."
Quentin Grant's eyes filled with tears. He turned and strode quickly outside.
Charlotte Young quickly threw on her clothes and chased after him, but by the time she got outside, Quentin Grant was long gone.
Ruby had just woken up when she saw Quentin Grant walk in. She was a bit incredulous. "Young Master Grant, you're... here for something?"
Quentin Grant asked anxiously, "Ruby, the pianist you brought over last night—was she wearing a white cloak and a pink veil?"
Ruby nodded. "Yes, she was."
His eyes lit up. "When did she leave?"
"I'm not too sure about that. After she left your room, I paid her and didn't pay attention to where she went. Why? Young Master Grant, did you lose something?" As Ruby considered this, she grew uneasy. 'My luck can't be this bad, can it?'
