Marlon Marshall was speechless. Seeing he couldn't argue his way out of it, he could only say, "Jean, I just made a mistake any man would make. Can't you forgive me this once? I'll never see Carol Young again, I swear!"
Jean Grant sneered. "And how much is your promise worth? Since marrying you, I've spent over ten million on you and your mother. Don't you think you should be satisfied?"
"Jean, for our child's sake, can't you forgive me just this once?"
Jean Grant lifted her shirt, untied the pillow, and threw it right at Marlon Marshall's head. "Child? Here, take a look! This is your child!"
