Clara Grant was startled by the sudden movement and instinctively took two steps back. Miles Quinn reacted in a flash, stepping in front of her.
Sandra was quickly restrained by the police and led away.
Miles Quinn turned around, looked at Clara, and asked, "Clara, are you okay?"
Clara shook her head. "I'm fine."
As she spoke, she glanced at Sandra, who was being led away by the police, then said to Miles Quinn, "I just have a feeling that Sandra had something she wanted to say."
"What could she have to say? Probably just begging you to let her off the hook." Miles Quinn also frowned, his gaze following Sandra. 'He never expected she would end up like this.'
Faye Jennings had also followed them out of the dressing room, and she happened to witness the exact moment Miles Quinn shielded Clara behind him.
She watched as Miles Quinn asked Clara, full of concern, if she was alright, and an idea flashed through her mind.
