Faye Jennings's words were intentionally vague and loaded with meaning. She knew perfectly well that Miles Quinn had sent for Holly Summers, but she didn't say so. It was a clear attempt to mislead Sienna Hale into thinking Clara Grant had called for her.
Her goal was to lead Sienna Hale to the conclusion that Clara Grant was the one who had instructed Holly Summers to go back and spread those ominous words.
Sure enough, Sienna Hale's sharp gaze shot toward Clara Grant.
Clara Grant sighed inwardly. 'What a waste. Just a moment ago, I was feeling sorry for Faye Jennings, and now she's already trying to frame me.'
Clara Grant met Sienna Hale's probing stare and pursed her lips, about to confess, when Seth Quinn spoke up first. "Mom, I was the one who told Holly Summers to say that."
