Aurora Sterling was back!
The expressions on Joy Dalton and Sharon Sterling's faces changed abruptly.
This was especially true for Sharon Sterling. Just a second ago, she had been arguing with Timothy Sterling's assistant. The sudden sound of Aurora's voice left her no time to change her expression. Eyes wide and a corner of her mouth twitching, she turned to look at Aurora.
However, Sharon Sterling was a seasoned actress. After the initial shock, she quickly put on her "concerned little sister" facade. Rushing forward, she grabbed Aurora's hand anxiously. "Sister, you're finally back! I was worried sick about you!"
"Really?" Aurora stared intently at Sharon Sterling, then bluntly pulled her hand away. "If you were really that worried about me, why did you abandon me last night and come home by yourself? And then go telling our elders all those baseless lies?"
