The time leading up to the college entrance exams was relatively peaceful for Aurora Sterling. In her desperate bid to outperform Aurora, Sharon Sterling studied day and night. Because of that, and the recent video incident, she hadn't been causing any trouble and was more or less keeping her head down.
As Sharon's mother, Joy Dalton naturally considered her daughter's college entrance exams to be of the utmost importance. She certainly wouldn't stir up any trouble in this final stretch, terrified that the slightest misstep might affect Sharon's performance.
Damien Valerius had also been relatively quiet during this time. After Aurora Sterling rejected his invitations a few more times, using her studies as an excuse, he hadn't threatened her again.
