'Cooperation?'
Timothy Sterling was startled, his body trembling slightly.
'What kind of cooperation? Who is Joy working with? What are they planning to do?'
Timothy Sterling's breathing grew ragged as a million thoughts raced through his mind. Yet, he never once believed that Joy Dalton would do anything to harm him.
Outside the shipping container, Joy Dalton's conversation with the man continued. Timothy Sterling forced himself not to let his mind run wild. 'I have to trust Joy.'
The man shoved Joy Dalton away, and she flared up in irritation. "Since we're partners, let me be blunt. Last time, you kidnapped the wrong person and let that wench Aurora Sterling come back alive. Because of that, Sharon and I have had nothing but bad luck. If you screw up and grab the wrong person again, you can forget about me helping you find that damn virus! In any case, no matter what happens, I'll still be Mrs. Sterling."
