The girl's brow furrowed. She wasn't sure if she should reveal anything about the organization. 'If I do, what will the consequences be? Will it put Damien in danger?'
Besides, she didn't actually know much about the organization herself. She didn't even know its real name, let alone who was in charge. Likewise, she had no idea how powerful or far-reaching its influence truly was.
She had only managed to sneak away with Eight's help and protection. So she dared not imagine what would happen if she didn't return, or what the organization would do if they discovered she had left.
Seeing her conflicted expression, Damien Valerius didn't press her. He glanced at the time. "It's late. We can talk about this another time."
