Aurora Sterling watched Damien Valerius drink the water, her gaze never leaving him. "Do you want more?"
"That's enough," Damien Valerius replied softly.
'Was it her imagination?' Aurora Sterling thought his voice didn't sound as pained as it had just moments ago.
"How are you feeling?" Aurora Sterling asked.
Damien Valerius leaned against the wall, his eyes slightly closed. When he heard Aurora Sterling's voice, he nodded. "I'm alright..."
Aurora Sterling watched Damien Valerius quietly. His voice was still weak and listless, but his breathing had, miraculously, become much more even than before.
'Was it because of the water?'
While Aurora Sterling was lost in thought, the color seemed to return to Damien Valerius's face.
The man leaned against the wall with his eyes closed, breathing evenly. He looked as if he had fallen asleep.
