"Ms. Sutton, is something wrong?" Sean Carter asked.
Ms. Sutton turned to Sean Carter. "I wanted to let Mr. Valerius know that Miss Sterling isn't in his room. She's sleeping in the room next door. If he goes back to his own room, he won't find her."
Sean Carter nodded. 'His boss is being a bit of a wishful thinker,' he thought. 'He probably assumed that when Miss Sterling said she was moving in, she meant moving in *with him*. Turns out she just wanted to crash here for a while.'
"I'll go up and tell him right now." The kind-hearted Ms. Sutton was about to head upstairs but was pulled back by Sean Carter.
"What're you doin'?" Ms. Sutton asked, looking at Sean Carter in confusion.
"Ms. Sutton, have you made dinner?" Sean Carter asked quietly.
"Made it. What's up?" Ms. Sutton asked, her voice carrying a distinct northern accent.
"Nothin' much. Just get me a plate and bring it to my room. You can put the rest away," Sean Carter replied, mimicking her accent.
