Ambel High School's summer uniform was actually quite pretty. For girls, it was a white, short-sleeved blouse with a bow at the collar, paired with a dark blue, plaid pleated skirt. The hemline rested just slightly above the knee—a rather modest length.
Aurora Sterling glanced confusedly at Damien Valerius, whose face had completely darkened. "It's the school's graduation ceremony. Of course I have to wear the uniform. Donovan said so too."
Ambel High School was a little different from other schools. Its graduation ceremony was held only after the college entrance exam scores were released. The idea was that holding the ceremony then would allow both students and teachers to be more relaxed.
The corners of Damien's mouth turned down. "I remember when you met me at the park for our date, the uniform you wore was a long-sleeved shirt and pants. When did it change to this!"
