Nancy Nash crossed her arms. When she turned, she saw Liam Valerius's reluctant expression, which only soured her already foul mood. "Back when you needed me to whisper in the old man's ear for you, I'd come see you no matter how late it was. But now you're not so happy to see me, are you!"
Liam Valerius waved a hand dismissively. "Cut the crap. Julia is waiting in the room for me to... deliver. I made an excuse to get over here, and I have to go back and deal with her in a bit."
