Nancy Nash had always presented a sensual, gentle side to Jameson Valerius. Unlike someone like Joy Dalton, who used fragility as a weapon, she rarely cried in front of him. So when she did, Jameson was taken aback for a moment.
But even so, it didn't change his mind. Jameson Valerius slowly withdrew his arm and looked at Nancy Nash with indifference. "You don't have to say another word. Letting you stay until after the birthday banquet is already a show of respect. If you keep making a scene, I'll have you sent away right now."
Nancy Nash froze, the expression on her face hardening. "Jameson..."
Jameson Valerius shot Nancy Nash one last, icy glare. "Rest assured, I won't divorce you. You will still be Mrs. Valerius. But as for anything else... don't even think about it. From now on, you will stay abroad and behave yourself."
With that, Jameson Valerius turned and left.
Nancy Nash faltered, about to chase after him, but Bell stepped in her way.
