"Elder."
Raylo walked over and bowed slightly.
"That Potion…"
Gu began slowly.
"Does it 'steal'—or perhaps, 'extract'—the bloodline Power of a Giant Dragon?"
"Elder, this Potion is from an inheritance I happened to obtain from an ancient ruin."
Raylo answered calmly.
"Oh?"
Gu raised an eyebrow but didn't press the matter.
His gaze shifted from Raylo toward the Lord's Mansion.
"Those two little newcomers have taken the bait."
He said.
Raylo's heart leaped into his throat again.
He knew the "little newcomers" Gu mentioned were the two Legendary Mages, Delin and Wendel, who were staying in the guest rooms of the Lord's Mansion.
"They're very interested in your Potion."
Gu turned his head back to look at Raylo again.
"That is precisely what I was hoping for."
Raylo replied.
Gu looked at him, an enigmatic glint flashing through his murky eyes.
"Interesting."
He nodded.
