"Oh, everyone's here. Let's go eat," Aiden Shaw said, greeting them.
"That's okay. Now that you're back, we should get going."
Jolene Joyce smiled as she stood up from the sofa, slinging her bag over her shoulder.
Peach, knowing it was time to leave, followed behind Jolene. "Well, LoriaLaura, I'll come back and see you tomorrow."
"Okay. Drive safe."
Just before she left, Peach shot Nancy a glare. "Aren't you leaving? Planning to spend the night here?"
"Geez, I'm going, I'm going! I already said I'd give Shaw to LoriaLaura, so why are you still glaring at me? You've got nothing better to do."
Nancy gave Peach a full 360-degree eye-roll, her expression the very picture of disgust.
"Who knows if you actually mean it. You say one thing and do another."
"Rotten Peach, what nonsense are you spouting? I, Nancy, my word is my bond."
"Heh. Better safe than sorry."
