When Phoebe Sterling told her this afternoon that Austin Thorne had asked Laura Lowell to dinner, she had held onto a sliver of hope, chiding Phoebe for trying to drive a wedge between her and Austin.
And yet, she couldn't resist coming in the end.
Raina Lynn sat down beside Austin Thorne, smoothly linking her arm through his. "I happened to be having dinner nearby. A friend told me you were here, so I came over."
Austin Thorne gave her an inscrutable look but said nothing.
"Laura's here too? Why didn't you guys invite me? If the paparazzi had spotted you, they would have a field day with it."
