After getting ready, Laura Lowell slung her bag over her shoulder and was changing her shoes in the entryway when Aiden Shaw came back.
"Are you heading out?"
Aiden Shaw closed the door and leaned wearily against the doorframe.
Laura Lowell straightened up, smiling as she tucked her hair behind her ear. "Since you're back, I won't go out then."
She hadn't seen Aiden Shaw in days. She'd finally managed to wrap up early today, so of course, spending time with her boyfriend was more important.
Aiden Shaw took off his overcoat and led Laura Lowell by the hand into the living room. "I thought you were still on set, so I didn't buy any groceries on my way back."
"We can just make some tomato and egg noodles."
Laura Lowell caught a faint scent of perfume on Aiden Shaw.
She looked up, and her gaze inadvertently fell upon the back collar of his white shirt.
That glaring lipstick stain made her eyes sting.
