Once inside the dressing room, Zachary Redgrave slammed the door shut with a BANG. "Just pretend they're full of shit. Don't take it to heart."
"I know. I'm fine."
Laura Lowell forced herself to look calm and collected, but the pain in her heart was so intense it almost made her dizzy.
"Laura, can we start with your makeup now?"
Yvonne Sloan walked over and asked.
Laura Lowell took a shallow breath and sat down at the vanity. "Go ahead."
"Laura, Shaw must've just been confused for a moment, that's why he was with that woman... I believe the one he truly loves is still you."
Yvonne Sloan offered these "comforting" words as she applied Laura Lowell's makeup.
Her words were designed to sow discord, but one wouldn't notice anything amiss without careful consideration.
Laura Lowell's lips merely twitched into a tight smile, but she said nothing.
