Laura Lowell couldn't be bothered to engage with him, so she grabbed a throw pillow, hugged it to her chest, and turned her attention to the TV.
Hannah Hale popped a slice of apple into her mouth. "Laura, has Aiden Shaw's birth mother come looking for you again?"
"She hasn't come looking for me since that last time. What about you? How are things going with that scumbag?"
