"Miss Lowell, since when are you so fond of meddling in other people's business? Besides, I'm not in the habit of reporting my whereabouts to anyone."
Nathan Redgrave picked up the pack of cigarettes on his desk, pulled one out, and lit it. His dark, unreadable eyes glanced at Zachary Redgrave. "Are you here to condemn me as well?"
"Hannah Hale is my friend. If you've done something to hurt that girl, Uncle, I'll definitely stand up for her."
'Whatever, he was throwing caution to the wind today. Worst case scenario, he'd just die.'
Nathan Redgrave took a drag of his cigarette, the rising white smoke obscuring his solemn gaze. "If you have nothing else, you can both leave."
"Nathan Redgrave, what is your relationship with that girl from the plane? Were you two together last night?"
Laura Lowell met Nathan Redgrave's gaze, completely undaunted by his powerful presence.
"Is that any of your business?"
