Laura Lowell's eyes were slightly red as she hugged Zachary Redgrave. "She must be devastated, but there's nothing we can do to help."
"We can't help with matters of the heart, but we have to get back the property she deserves."
"Aren't you afraid your uncle will kick you out of the Redgrave family?"
"Isn't your Dr. Shaw there to protect you? If the sky falls, he'll hold it up."
Zachary Redgrave took a pack of tissues from his coat pocket and handed it to Laura Lowell. "Wipe your tears. I'm heading back to the old residence."
"Okay, be careful driving."

In the car, Hannah Hale gripped the steering wheel with both hands as tears slowly blurred her vision.
She turned on her signal, pulled the car over to the side of the road, and collapsed onto the steering wheel, sobbing uncontrollably, as if doing so could lessen the pain in her heart.
