Zachary Redgrave tripped on the controller he had just thrown on the floor and fell right on top of Zoe Yates. His face, of all places, landed squarely on her chest.
Zoe Yates's heart hammered against her ribs. She went completely still, her face beet red, as if she'd been paralyzed.
Zachary hesitated, turning his face slightly. Something felt wrong, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was.
It just felt strange.
Laura Lowell and Hannah Hale watched the two on the floor in amusement, their shoulders trembling as they desperately tried to hold back their laughter.
"Hey, haven't you held on long enough? You're going to crush poor Yates."
Hannah Hale finally couldn't take it anymore and let out a loud "PFFT," bursting into laughter. Laura Lowell immediately followed suit.
Zachary Redgrave glanced at Zoe Yates, swallowing nervously for some reason, and pushed himself up from the floor. "What the hell are you two laughing at? What's so funny?"
