Upon entering the house, Nathan saw the suitcase in the living room. He then glanced at the young woman changing her shoes, his dark brows furrowing slightly.
"You've already packed your things?"
Hannah walked toward him, casually taking off her coat. "I was planning to move out tomorrow, so I packed a little early."
Seeing the young woman's impassive face, which showed neither anger nor joy, Nathan raised a hand and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Let me take it upstairs for you."
"That's not necessary. There isn't much, I can carry it myself."
Before the words had even left her lips, the phone in her bag began to ring. It was a call from Laura.
"Laura, is something wrong?"
"I heard from Zachary that the matriarch is threatening you with the Hale Family to stop you from divorcing Nathan?"
Laura was truly worried about her friend, which was why she had called to check in.
