Standing nearby, Cassie Grant shot Tiana Peyton a look, and the two prepared to slip away.
"Did I say you could leave?"
Aiden Shaw kept his head down, dressing Laura Lowell's wound, but the menacing aura radiating from him was so intimidating that no one dared get close.
Tiana Peyton clutched her still-bleeding head, her expression contorted with rage as she glared at Aiden Shaw. "Why can't we leave? Your wife hit me first."
"So what? Until this is sorted out, no one is leaving this room."
Aiden Shaw applied ointment to Laura Lowell's wound and wrapped it in white gauze. He tenderly wiped the tears from her face. "Does it hurt?"
Laura Lowell shook her head, her red, swollen eyes meeting Aiden Shaw's gaze. "Don't worry, it doesn't hurt."
"Aiden, my parents can't have died in vain..."
"I know. Rest assured."
