"Don't worry, I've got this handled."
Fiona Keating scanned the comments on Weibo, a nonchalant smile playing on her makeup-free face.
She found Nathan Redgrave's number in her contacts, tapped the screen, and placed the call. The phone rang for a long time before it was finally answered.
Fiona Keating took a moment to get into character, her voice choked and trembling as she began to speak. "Nathan, those photos of me getting beaten at the hospital yesterday... Laura Lowell and the others posted them online. Now everyone is saying I'm the other woman, trying to break you up."
Nathan Redgrave furrowed his brow and set down his pen. He opened the laptop on his desk and pulled up the entertainment news. His expression grew darker the more he read.
"I'll have someone take care of this. Don't worry."
"But Nathan, my room is surrounded by reporters. If I can't give them a reasonable explanation today, I'm afraid I won't be able to get out of here."
