The polar night on the Tundra was cold and silent.
The sky was a deep, inky blue, and the stars glittered like brilliant jewels.
The camp was brightly lit. People gathered around a blazing bonfire, dancing to the music, drinking ice-cold beverages, and shouting encouragement for both sides of the competition from time to time.

As for the other side of the competition, Feng Shan, Yves, and Nash were simply cutting the muskox and reindeer meat into small pieces and threading them onto iron skewers.
