Kian Sterling watched him in silence.
Silas Norwood's tone was gentle as he met his gaze. "You can tell me all about these things, Kade. Or I can find them out for myself—it makes no difference."
"Why do you want to know all this?" Kian Sterling's tone was sharp and forceful. "You're not even married yet, and you're already thinking of disciplining her?"
"Life is short. What's the fun in the typical pastimes of a well-bred lady, like music, chess, and painting?" Silas Norwood sighed softly. "She has her own unique hobbies, and as her fiancé, I ought to indulge her, spoil her, and make sure she has the time of her life."
"Aren't you afraid people will say you married a willful and reckless wife?" Kian Sterling scrutinized him.
"At our level, Kade," Silas Norwood gave a faint smile, "why would we fear gossip?"
Kian Sterling's aggressive and domineering air dissipated at that sentence.
