Fortunately, Zi Xi reacted with extreme speed, instantly transforming into a wisp of faint purple smoke.
SWISH—
The streak of blood-red light shot through the smoke and slammed into the ice behind her, blasting a ghastly, crimson hole.
The next instant, Zi Xi reappeared, completely unharmed, and unleashed the Magical Treasure in her hand.
BOOM!
Wei Renjie was already grievously wounded and stood no chance against her Magical Treasure. In an instant, the pressure forced him to his knees as his body was crushed, flesh and bone shattering inch by inch.
Only then did Wu Shuo and the others react.
"Saint Child Wei, you've defected to the Demon Sect?"
They questioned him in a fury, glaring daggers at Wei Renjie.
At the same time, they all moved as one to subdue Wei Renjie's dozen or so Honored Guest Elders.
Zi Xi said coolly, "Junior Brother Wei, give me an explanation."
"Senior Sister..."
Wei Renjie gave a wretched smile.
