Corinne Walsh immediately shot Lana Sterling a glare. "A man like your Uncle Nathaniel is someone only your aunt is worthy of. So don't even think about it!"
Vera was mortified. When she saw Nathaniel scoop up a spoonful of pig brain, she instantly grew tense. She knew him well enough to understand that he always followed through on his words; the rules and etiquette others followed meant nothing to him! Even with so many people watching, he would really dare to feed her himself!
She quickly snatched the spoon from his hand. "I'll eat it myself!"
Nathaniel raised an eyebrow and pushed the bowl of pig brain soup in front of her. A wave of nausea washed over her as she stared at the pale, lumpy contents. 'He's definitely doing this just to mess with me!'
Vera gave him a pitiful look and tugged on his sleeve. He glanced down at her, unmoved.
