Unaware of what Susan Caldwell was thinking, Leo Wright gave a slight nod and said softly, "Direwolf may be exceptional, but he's cold and ruthless. Miss, it would be best if you stayed away from him in the future."
"Stay out of my business." Susan Caldwell's tone was sharp. "I know what I'm doing!"
Seeing her face go slightly pale, Leo Wright didn't dare say more.
Susan Caldwell then thought of something else. "I can't stand the sight of that Vera Xavier. Do you have any way to get rid of her?"
A troubled look appeared in Leo Wright's eyes. "With Direwolf by her side now, I'm afraid there won't be an opportunity..."
"Direwolf is a soldier. He'll have to return to his unit in the next couple of days," Susan Caldwell said, looking at him. "Don't tell me you can't even handle a little thing like this?"
Leo Wright glanced at her, not wanting to disappoint her, and said softly, "I'll find a way."
