Alistair Forrest was taken aback for a moment. In all his years in business with his grandfather, he had never seen anyone voluntarily ask for a lower salary. But then he remembered what she had told him before and calmed down. His Honey had never been someone motivated by money.
Alistair Forrest smiled at Vera Xavier and asked, "Wouldn't you rather make more money?"
"If I take your ten million, I won't be able to slack off even if I want to," Vera Xavier said slowly. "I'm still in school and have my own things I want to do, so I don't have that much time to coordinate with your work."
Alistair Forrest shrugged. Vera Xavier continued, "So, the second point that needs to be changed is the requirement to assist the company with jade procurement no fewer than three times a year. In principle, that's not an unreasonable demand."
