During training today, Sheldon Caldwell took advantage of his camp's proximity to Nathaniel Nathan's and provoked him several times.
Nathaniel Nathan was already fuming because he hadn't been able to spend the night with Vera Xavier. He thought Sheldon Caldwell was a complete moron, but for a moron to walk right into the line of fire like this... if he didn't react at all, he'd be doing himself a disservice.
So, with his approval, he had his men retaliate a little.
This led to some minor friction between the two branch companies. Private fights were forbidden by the company, and Nathaniel considered himself a reasonable man. He couldn't just lead his men to beat the hell out of Sheldon Caldwell's team without the pretext of a special training exercise.
After that, Sheldon Caldwell seemed to get even more fired up and challenged Nathaniel Nathan to single combat.
