Winter Sullivan spent most of her time at the research institute, so she had very few belongings at home. She opened her closet, only to find there was almost nothing to pack.
So, she closed the closet door, slung her usual bag over her shoulder, and turned to leave.
Julian reached out and grabbed her by the hand. "Winter, what do you think you're doing?"
"I want a divorce," Winter said slowly. "But it's too late today; the Civil Affairs Bureau is already closed. I can't stand to be in this house a moment longer, so I'm going to my parents' place for now. I'll contact you tomorrow to set a time for us to go to the bureau together."
"Have you lost your mind?" Julian's face was flushed with anger. "A divorce? I will never agree to it!"
Winter gave a faint smile. "That's fine. As long as you're not afraid of the humiliation, I don't mind suing you. Also, you'd better let go of me right now, or I will hit you."
