Secretary Archer's expression turned cold. "You're all spouting nonsense! Just as Ms. White said, the three of you are in this together, ganging up on her!"
He then turned to the Dean of Students. "Dean, I don't mean to overstep, but look at the kind of students you've admitted this year! These girls are forming cliques, acting wild and unreasonable. You have to expel them!"
The Dean of Students' expression was grim. He shot Shirley Ewing and Fiona Wright a glare. "Was I talking to you? Vera Xavier, you speak."
Vera Xavier glanced at the arrogant Secretary Archer, then at Laura White, who was sitting to the side looking smugly confident. She said calmly, "The truth is just as Shirley Ewing described it. We didn't try to hit Laura White today. She was the one who used her family's power and influence to attack us first. For that, she must apologize to us in front of the entire school!"
'Even though I don't know what Nathaniel has planned, Laura White has to apologize.'
