Gu'er looked at the young man who had appeared behind her. After taking in his clothes, she studied his face. He looked to be about twenty-three or twenty-four, with sharp, well-defined eyebrows and large, expressive eyes. He had a high-bridged nose and nicely shaped lips, giving him a very masculine and righteous air.
'A man like him would make a great police officer. If he were an actor, he'd definitely play the hero,' Gu'er thought to herself.
As Gu'er was sizing up the young man, he was doing the same to her.
He had seen a girl staring blankly at the bicycle parking area and figured she couldn't find a spot. Judging by her silhouette, she seemed young, so he struck up a conversation. He never expected that when she turned around, she would be so pretty. Her skin wasn't exactly fair, but it wasn't dark either—just a normal complexion. Her features, however, were lovely, especially her large eyes, which looked as if they could talk.
The young man's smile widened.
