Mrs. Sun returned to her room, unable to sit still. The men were still out working in the fields! They didn't know what had happened at home yet. If her husband found out that his sister-in-law wanted to split the family because of their daughter, all hell would break loose again.
With this in mind, Mrs. Sun forced a smile and went to the door of the first branch's room.
"Sister-in-law, don't be angry. I won't go looking for trouble with Gu Jiaojiao, alright? Mom and Dad are still with us, how can you talk about splitting the family!"
There was no response from the first branch's room.
Li Cuilian had only brought up splitting the family in the heat of the moment.
The main issue was that Mrs. Sun wanted to confront Gu Jiaojiao. If she angered her, and Gu Jiaojiao stopped letting them use the machinery, it would be their first branch that suffered the consequences.
But after going back inside and thinking it over, she decided that splitting the family was absolutely necessary.
