By this point, electricity had been brought to countless homes. It was just that here in the Qingshan Team, surrounded by endless mountain ranges, the workload was too great, so it hadn't been installed yet.
However, Gu Jiaojiao remembered the book mentioning that the people of the Qingshan Team also got electricity in the same year the college entrance exams were reinstated.
All of this was mentioned in her younger cousin's book.
'Now that the plot has gone completely off the rails, who knows if this detail still holds true.'
But none of that would stop her from getting electricity.
Getting wires and power strips wasn't the hard part; the issue was that buying them through normal channels required industrial coupons.
Leng Yuan agreed without hesitation.
"No problem."
"And when the waterwheel can't generate electricity anymore, we can use wind power."
