Ji Wang thought of his dad, a hint of a smile flashing in his eyes. "My dad introduced us."
"Even better," Director Xie said, slapping his thigh. "If your dad approves, then she must be the real deal. I know your father; he's a good judge of character."
Ji Wang smiled. "Yes, he is."
'He really is a good judge of character. It must have been hard for him, fanning the flames from behind the scenes.'
Director Xie finished changing and patted Ji Wang's shoulder on his way out. "Go get her!"
"Go get her!"
"Go get her!" The remaining doctors filed out, each one remembering to pat Ji Wang's shoulder on their way. Ji Wang felt like his right shoulder had been patted down an inch, and he sighed in resignation. 'Why is everyone more anxious about this than I am?'
Remembering Yi Ru was still waiting for him in the office, Ji Wang didn't linger in the locker room. He threw on his white coat and ran to his office.
