Wang Hunv finished the longevity noodles Tan You had made in just a few bites, her eyes already scanning the other dishes. The spread was mostly the same as lunch, but were there a few more cold dishes? 'Is that the pig's head Tan You put away the day before yesterday?'
Tan You didn't keep her in suspense. "Weren't you just saying the other day that you were craving tongue and pig ears? I saved some. Oh, and I made a plate of potstickers. The wrappers are made from the leftover flour from the hand-pulled noodles."
The potstickers were fried to a golden brown on the bottom, and oil sizzled out with every bite. That was exactly what Wang Hunv loved. Of the final plate of potstickers, Tan You and Tan Deming ate a combined total of three. Wang Hunv polished off the rest.
