The document Sister Hong brought over was the guild's approval paperwork from Tiao Yin. It was originally a digital file, but she had printed it out. At the back of the document was a list of names, each followed by a number.
Once a guild's application is approved by Tiao Yin, the platform allocates resource recommendation slots, commonly known as traffic support. These resources include both video traffic and live stream promotion.
Tiao Yin issues these recommendation slots to the guild, which can then distribute them freely before reporting the allocation back to the platform.
Sometimes, when watching streams, you might see a streamer who originally only had a few dozen viewers and no real buzz suddenly get a massive traffic boost to several thousand, or even over ten thousand, concurrent viewers. But by the next day, they're back to normal.
This usually means they either paid for the traffic or received one of these recommendation slots.
